Keep on Chugging along

The BNSF after trying to form a one person crew agreement in Washington, has had the agreement struck down. Many Railroad companies are trying to go to one person crews which should not be allowed in many peoples opinions. They want to fully rely on technology with PTC (Positive Train Control) and have tried implementing technology into the cab many times in the past with them having flaws.

Speaking from experience as a conductor where the Distributed power Units (DPU) has failed and applied emergency brakes on the whole train, causing a break in both knuckles and draw-bars. it will be a while before technology can replace a person in the cab. and it should stay as 2 people.
